Program Description
The International Languages Department promotes and encourages cultural, linguistic and personal enrichment through the experience of speaking, listening, reading and writing in French and Spanish. The students also participate in a wide variety of cultural activities which enhance their learning.

The French Immersion Program includes opportunities to be completely immersed in the French language. Students can take courses in Language & Literature, Geography, History, Civics, Careers, Co-Op, Peer Tutoring, Physical Education, Ancient Civilizations and World Issues . Upon successful completion of ten French Immersion credits (including the Grade 12 Language & Literature course), the student receives a Certificate of Immersion Studies.
