Study Schedule DO's and DON'Ts
Mar 10, 2007 - 6:31:12 PM
- DO keep all your schedules in the same place and refer to them each day. Record information immediately.
- DO schedule in Blocks of Time. Study Blocks that range between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours are most effective.
- DO study for 5 or 6 days a week. That means scheduling time Monday to Thursday, plus one or two days on the weekend.
- Even if you have no homework in a subject, DO review your class notes for that subject.
- DO schedule time for physical exercise everyday.
- DO use any free time between classes, but DON'T schedule your lunch hours for homework or review.
- DO make sure that each day has some time that's unscheduled, when you can do as you please. Enjoy that time.
- DO be specific about what tasks you plan to do and when you plan to do them. (ie. Learn all parts of a cell vs study science)
- DO schedule enough time to get each task completed. Be realistic in your time requirement.
- DO say "NO" to your friends. Invitations from your friends shouldn't sway you to alter your study plans.
